Germany’s national soccer team (= die Nationalmannschaft) lost today’s game against Serbia 0:1. It was an exciting but weird game with a V-E-R-Y fussy referee, who showed the yellow card all the time and sometimes for no real reason. The popular striker Miroslav Klose eventually got a red card and had to leave the field. Germany’s team fought with only 10 instead of 11 players and had lots of good chances but just couldn’t do it. Congratulations Serbia!
Germany plays next on Wednesday. Keep your fingers crossed :)
